Our story
From Vevi village to your table.
VEVI takes its name from Vevi, a mountain village in northern Greece — a reminder of where this all starts: high fields, patient growers and herbs that take their time.
Who we are
Growers first, packers second.
VEVI Foods is a Greek family company. We grow oregano in our own fields in the Kozani highlands and work with a close network of certified local growers in the same valleys — selecting fields, following each lot through harvest and drying, and packing everything ourselves under FSSC 22000.
Oregano, mountain tea, sage, thyme, chamomile — the classics of the Greek mountainside, treated with the patience they deserve. That patience is what the Great Taste judges in London tasted, three times.

The terroir
What 800 metres does to a leaf.
Altitude slows everything down. Cold nights and bright days push the plant to defend itself — and its defence is exactly what we're after: essential oils, concentrated in the leaf. The limestone soils and the microclimate of Kozani do the rest.
« Let food be thy medicine. »
From field to jar
Four steps, no shortcuts.

- Controlled
Every lot is traced and checked from harvest to intake at our facility.
- Slowly dried
Shade-dried, gently and slowly, so the essential oils stay where they belong.
